Jody Spiro, Ed.D., has worked with schools, districts, nonprofits and governments in the U.S. and abroad on leading change. She currently serves as Interim Director of Education at NYU’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and as a senior program officer at The Wallace Foundation where she works with education leaders across the United States. Previously, Spiro held leadership positions at large organizations in the private, public, non-profit, university, philanthropic and international sectors. She has seen firsthand that the approach laid out in this book applies in all these venues. Spiro presents frequently on the topic of leading change at conferences such as: ASCD, The National Staff Development Council, The National Council of State Legislatures, The National Association of State Boards of Education, and The Council of Chief State School Officers.
